Animal Welfare Policy

1. Purpose and scope

This Animal Welfare Policy describes DogPack's principles and commitments regarding animal welfare. The policy covers all products and areas of operation where animals may be affected, including the development and sale of dog handler clothing, dog clothing, raincoats, leashes, toys and other dog accessories.

2. Basic principles of animal welfare

DogPack believes that all animals should be treated with respect and care. Our business shall never contribute to the suffering, harm or unethical treatment of animals. Products developed and sold by DogPack shall be designed with the safety, comfort and natural behaviour of dogs in mind.

3. Product development and safety

All products for dogs must be fit for purpose and designed for their intended use. DogPack works to ensure that the materials, design and function do not pose a risk of injury, discomfort or stress to the animal when used correctly.

Toys, leashes and other accessories are designed to promote safe use and should not encourage harmful behaviour or excessive strain.

4. Materials and origin

DogPack strives to use materials that are suitable for products in contact with animals. We strive for transparency in the supply chain and work to ensure that the materials used in our products do not originate from operations where animals are subjected to unnecessary suffering or unethical conditions.

5. Suppliers and partners

DogPack requires that suppliers and producers comply with applicable legislation and internationally recognised guidelines for animal welfare. We expect our partners to share our values regarding respectful treatment of animals and responsible production.

6. Use of animals in marketing and testing

DogPack does not accept the use of animals in tests that may cause suffering, harm or stress. Any use of animals in product evaluation or marketing must be ethically justifiable and always prioritise the animal's welfare.

7. Collaborations, marketing and agreements

DogPack requires that all collaborations with influencers, ambassadors and other external parties be regulated by written agreements. These agreements include a commitment to comply with this Animal Welfare Policy and that animals are not trained, handled or treated in an unethical or illegal manner.

DogPack does not accept training methods or handling that violate applicable legislation, accepted ethical guidelines or good animal husbandry. If illegal or unethical training methods occur and come to DogPack's attention, DogPack reserves the right to immediately terminate the collaboration.

8. Compliance and follow-up

This policy forms part of DogPack's overall responsibility. The policy is reviewed regularly and may be updated to ensure compliance with applicable legislation, industry practices and the company's values.
